ABOUT KENYA We will experience the cultures of the Maasai, Rendille, and Samburu and see thousands of pink flamingos gather in the Rift Valley lakes, against the backdrop of the majestic Mount Kenya. The second highest mountain in Africa, Mount Kenya, supports large herds of zebras, elephants, rhinos, antelopes, monkeys, and lions. Kenya is home to one of the natural wonders of the world, the great wildebeest migration. During this spectacle, over two million animals migrate a distance of almost 3,000km (1,800mi) from the Serengeti in neighbouring Tanzania to Kenya's Maasai Mara. The Maasai Mara National Reserve is also famous for its exceptional population of lions, leopards, and cheetahs.
